One thing to consider when throwing a birthday party for boys is to make sure there are plenty of activities planned to keep the party flowing and energy levels under control.

You will definitely want some fun and creative organized activities for your son’s party.  Try adapting ideas to your  birthday party theme.  Most games are adaptable to any theme but,  are so much fun that they fall into the “Plain, old fashioned, all-round fun theme” – perfect for any party!

If possible, have a couple of extra activities that don’t require much work in your back pocket in case things move along quicker than anticipated.  Here  some  easy, but great ideas, neither of which are a lot of work on your part and both allow the kids to blow off some steam.

• Have a long rope handy for a game of tug of war, doesn’t require much work and the boys just love to compete and show off how strong they are.
• Have some suspenseful music like Star Wars theme recorded and ready to go for freeze dance – but put a spin on it.  Instead of dancing, have them perform their favorite Superhero moves.
• Bowling games – decorate the pins to match your theme!
• Pirate Treasure – A Pirate Party, of course!
• Inflatable Three in a Row-Use your imagination for this one!
• Sack Race-Another “plain old fashioned, game!
